SCOTTISH ROCKS v LEICESTER RIDERS (22.10.06)

Sunday the 22nd of October saw my first British Basketball Leauge experience as a court side photographer.  The venue as usual was the Braehead Arena and the Scottish Rocks welcomed the Leicester Riders to town.  

PLAYER PROFILE: TERRENCE MCGEE ( NO.7 - LEICESTER RIDERS)

A competitive first half saw the teams continually leap frog one another with captain Rob Yanders taking his team in at half time two points for the good, After starting with a 10 - 2 deficit only minutes into the first quarter.

 

The Second half began with the 'Rocks' steaming ahead and building a lead of 17 points going into the final quarter. A final push from the visitors wasn't enough for the Riders to take anything back to Leicester.  For Rocks coach Thorsten Leibenath the weekend had ended just as pleasant as it had started with Friday nights win in Newcastle along with Sundays home victory.
